A more welcoming place to begin
finding steadier ground.
Founded and led by therapist Eric Anthony Taveras, New Milford Community Wellness Center offers a calmer, more respectful first step for individuals, couples, and families seeking counseling-led support. Care is available in English or Spanish, with Portuguese support also potentially available by request, in person in New Milford or through telehealth.
A center shaped for real life, not distance or performance
People often reach out when life has become too heavy, too tense, or too painful to keep carrying alone. The center is here to meet that moment with steadiness: a real local place, a clear next step, and care that feels grounded rather than generic.
Our support, clearly explained
Support for worry, emotional overload, and constant pressure that can make daily life harder to manage.
A respectful place to work through painful experiences and move toward steadier ground at a manageable pace.
Support for rebuilding trust, steadier routines, and healthier ways to cope during recovery.
Help for recurring conflict, emotional distance, and communication that keeps breaking down at home.
When sadness, numbness, exhaustion, or discouragement start making ordinary life harder to carry.
Support for grief, major change, or the quieter overwhelm that can leave life feeling stuck.
People come here carrying real pressure
When pressure never really lets up and your mind does not quiet down on its own.
When the past still shapes the present in ways that are hard to explain or harder to carry.
You are trying to stay steady, rebuild trust, or create better support around daily life.
Conflict, miscommunication, or emotional distance is affecting the people closest to you.
Loss, transition, or a new season of life has left you feeling uncertain or overwhelmed.
You do not need perfect words before reaching out. A first conversation is enough to begin.
